BEHAVIOUR GUIDELINES DURING GAMING SESSIONS1. Be Respectful: Please be respectful and mindful of other players. Remember that we’re all here for casual fun and please display good sportsmanship throughout the session, whether you win or lose.
2. Be Patient with Others: Some players may require more time to make decisions, especially if they are learning a game for the first time. Please avoid rushing other players or making decisions for them unless they ask for assistance. We encourage a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for players of all skill levels.
3. Pay Attention: Please stay focused on the game and try to avoid distractions such as using your phone excessively or engaging in unrelated conversations during gameplay.
4. Board Games have Lots of Rules: Please follow the rules of the game as outlined in the rulebook. If the game’s host has made an error regarding the rules or if you wish to verify certain rules, you may wish to politely correct them or request clarification.
5. Health and Hygiene: All participants are encouraged to wear a mask if they are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, or fever.
RULES FOR TAKING CARE OF THE BOARD GAMES AND THE VENUE
6. Take Care of Games and their Components: As the games being played are the personal properties of our members, please handle the board games and their components carefully and responsibly.
7. No Food or Drinks: Please avoid placing food or drinks directly on the playing surface to prevent spills or damage to the game components. There are other tables within the RN centre for you to place your food and drinks. If a does spill occur, please clean up the mess immediately to prevent damage to the game components. Also, please do not bring any strong-smelling foods or alcoholic beverages to gaming sessions.
8. Clean Up Afterward: After finishing the session, please assist with cleaning up the game components, and putting back the tables and chairs. Please also dispose of any trash or waste before leaving the venue.
