Halloween is just around the corner and we want yout os trut your stuff! Whether you're going for spooky or kooky, come dressed in a costume and get ready to parade around with your host, Jennie the Cat. Plus, if you're really proud of your fit, we'll feature you on our social media!
About the Show
When Jennie the cat receives a Halloween card that calls her a scary cat, she feels like she’s been put in a box. Does she have to be scary? Join Jennie as she meets new friends with some spectacular tricks and treats to share, like skateboarding, shadow puppetry, and pumpkin carving. Who will Jennie choose to be? This show features cuddly puppets, audience interaction, and original music.
Time and Place
Performances will take place at 10am on October 11th and 25th in the Helen Hayes Gallery of The National Theatre, located at 1321 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004. Children will be encouraged to sit on rainbow mats on the floor and parents to sit in chairs behind.
Tickets and Donations
Registration is FREE but donations are welcome. In the event of a sellout, please feel free to join the waitlist; we also accept walk-ups, pending the availability of space.
Audience
This performance is ideal for children ages 3-6 but all are welcome!
Accessibility
ASL interpretation will be provided. The space is wheelchair accessible.
About the Artists
Ingrid Bork and Mollie Greenberg make educational puppet shows for children (and the child within us all). They are regular features in the Tiny Tots program at The Puppet Co. Follow them on Instagram: @ingridandmollie.
