🗺️ Always wanted to give orienteering a go? This event is for beginners of all ages - children, adults, families, pairs, solo, all welcome 🤗
📍///advice.asserts.mining. At the venue look for the Airienteers banner and tent. We will be set up just across the road from the car park
🚌 Please park in the car park on North Side of Temple Newsam Road close to the old running track.
First bus numbers 19 and 19A run to Whitkirk, 1 mile from Temple Newsam.
⏰ We will be ready to see you from 1:00 pm. You can start at any time up to 2:30pm.
🧭 When you arrive you will receive a “Dibber”, an electronic timing chip, given the opportunity to look at the map before you start and an AIRE coach will be on hand to assist to talk you through what to do and answer any questions. The course start will be adjacent. There you receive the map for your course, and you can start at intervals in your own time.
💷 Entries are £1 for each person for their first course. After that there is no charge for running more courses.
🗺️ Short, medium and longer courses will be on offer - something for all ages & abilities.
👟 No need for any special equipment, just some trainers & a sense of adventure
