Saturday in the Park Public Sing-Along

Sing (and dance) together to the songs we all love, no stage or mic. Get your breath work, inclusive instant camaraderie, and hella fun.
About this Event

For more than five years, a diverse group of us have met to sing together, mostly on Saturdays, usually outdoors in a beautiful park. There are so many reasons to do this! And yes, the first time, even for me still, it feels weird...up until the moment right after the music starts.
Right there, magic begins, and I (that would be me, Bill Protzmann, your Organizer) forget all about all the neuroscience and evidence and music-ish therapy and frequencies and the timeless benefits of singing together and fall into...well, some things you have to experience for yourself. Hope you'll give it a try.

Images for our October 31, 2026 playlist are shown below.

. There, you will also find the historical playlist archives, resources for casual singers and speakers, and useful additional links abiut Musimorphic and why we do this.
Pro Tip: You will want to have the lyrics page link saved on the device you'll bring along to the sing-along. If not, just bring a phone or tablet and we'll have the lyrics link available for you as a QR code.

Side-effects of public singing may include: deeper, safer awareness of joy, anger, fear, sadness, and your connection to others; spontaneous dancing; mastery of the kazoo.

If you've yet to experience the benefits of singing in public without the pressure of performance perfection, this is for you.

If you're interested in becoming a part of this ongoing experiment in public music for health, please join our Facebook group.

Finally, one of our regulars who is much more articulate than your humble Organizer wrote this piece about the experience: An Accidental Pursuit of Fellowship.
