Forest Restoration Workshop

This hands-on workshop will teach you how to restore our local forests and positively impact the environment. We’ll meet at the entrance to the bike path on Old Mill Road (west of Richmond Hill Road) next to the old St. Andrews Church for a fun and educational morning of tree planting, trail maintenance, and more! No experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get your hands dirty. For this workshop, our 342nd by my new count, we’ll concentrate on twining, woody vines, and Japanese Angelica on the slopes beside the Greenway. Let's work together to protect and preserve our beautiful forests for future generations!

Protectors will supply gloves, loppers, and pruners.
