Join us Saturday, October 3rd for an epic rail excursion from Belington, through Elkins, and all the way up the Shavers Fork of the Cheat River to the High Falls and back.
With prime fall foliage and ever changing scenic vistas the entire time this is a special one-weekend-only opportunity to immerse yourself in West Virginia wild lands and history like never before.
This ~6 hour excursion will span two counties and two watersheds with opportunities to off board and explore on either end of the journey. Arrive early to visit the Golden Rule Museum and experience bits of Belington’s rich history. At the other end of your journey you can soak in the sights, sounds, and smells of peak fall in the mountains at the iconic high falls of the Cheat.
