In this flexible beginners class, learn to create pottery on the wheel and the table. Intro to Clay is designed for students with little to no experience; students often take this class multiple times. Explore pottery with our knowledgeable instructor, Bari, and learn how to make cups, bowls and other functional objects. The syllabus includes one hand-building project, multiple days of throwing cups and bowls, trimming and finishing work, and two glaze classes. Dishes made at our studio are dishwasher and microwave-safe. Students must be aged 14+
Bari Precious has been a professional potter for over 30 years and is well-informed and energetic. This attentive instructor will provide a hands-on atmosphere.
