Join us at this amazing oasis in downtown Gainesville, GA!! Who knew you could forest bathe just down from Walmart on Thompson Bridge Rd?!?
The title of this excursion is “Native Plants and Cherokee Roots.”
Ms. Margaret will take us on a gentle hike around the Preserve to explain how to identify the different native plants, how to encourage their growth, and what can we DO with them. 🤓
Linwood Nature Preserve recently discovered Cherokee graves ON THEIR PROPERTY that have been disavowed for almost 100 years!! 😳 They used ground-penetrating radar and other research methods to locate and identify the graves. Come hear all about this modern-day, real-life sleuthing!! A-MAZING!!
