Sassy Pants intermediate Middle School kid camp

Dates: Aug 11-13, 1 pm- 5 pm

Description

This 3-day workshop is perfect for young sewists (ages 11+ or kids going into the 6th grade or higher) who already have a bit of sewing experience and are ready to take it up a notch! In this hands-on class, students will learn how to sew a pair of comfy pajama shorts from a pattern and design their own embellished t-shirt to match. From fabric cutting to reading a pattern and creative t-shirt techniques, they’ll leave with a complete outfit and the confidence to keep sewing on their own.

Supply List

• Your sewing machine or borrow one of ours
• 1-2 yards of woven fabric for your shorts
• 1 yard of 1-inch wide braided elastic
• Thread to match your fabric
• 1 t-shirt to embellish
• Measuring Tape
• Seam ripper
• Sewing gauge
• Fabric scissors
• Paper scissors
