Shri. Abhishek Borkar, a prodigy sarodist hailing from a family of virtuosos was trained by his father Pt. Shekhar Borkar in his own ‘tarankaar baaz’ playing style, which mixes the Maihar gharana of Ustad Allauddin Khan with ideas from across khayal vocal music, notably including intricate ornamentation of taans (melodic lines).
Shri Yashwant Vaishnav is one of the most popular Tabla Player of the younger generation.He is a disciple of shri Mukund Bhale ji and at present he is under the tutelage of the renowned Tabla maestro Pt.Yogesh Samsi. He is receipient of the Ustaad Bismilla Khan award for young talented musicians by the Sangeet Natak Academy.
