Dear Friends,Prabasi invites you and your family to Saraswati Puja on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Venue will be R.J. Grey Junior High School, 16 Charter Rd, Acton, MA 01720.
Maa Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, music, arts and learning. Every year we celebrate Saraswati puja with great fervor. Our devotees offer pushpanjali to the Goddess of learning. We enjoy Prasad and Bhoger Khichuri followed by an array of cultural events. This is also the day many parents initiate education of their children, known as the 'Haate Khori' - the formal beginning of reading and writing in a child's life. If you have a child ready to begin her/his academic journey and plan on getting that started at our pujo, please let us know. We will have the arrangements.
The event is FREE for 2025 Prabasi members. Non-members are welcome to join with a minimum donation: Adult $35, Child $15 (under 5 years free), Visiting Senior Citizen Parents (member or non-members) $15. This donation includes lunch and dinner at the venue.
