SARANGAM – An Art Exhibition :

Celebrating the Confluence of Tradition, Thought and Contemporary Artistic Expression

The city of Ahmedabad is set to witness “SARANGAM – An Art Exhibition,” a curetted artistic gathering that brings together four distinctive artistic expressions — Mrinal Dutt, Roshni Joy, Madhushree Pawar and Falak Antani —at the Kanoria Centre for Arts, Ahmedabad, this week.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on 25 September 2026 at 4:30 PM and will be graced by Mrs. Khushbu Bagga, Founder and Director of Petal Foundation, Philanthropist and Patron of the Arts.

The word Sarangam evokes the blend of ideas, perspectives and creative expressions. Rooted in tradition yet open to contemporary interpretations, the participating artists bring their individual experiences, sensibilities, inspirations, perspectives and artistic languages into a shared exhibition space.

Mrinal Dutt is professionally quite in demand artist, who explores a contemporary visual language that presents relationship between traditional influences and modern expression. His practice reflects a keen engagement with the human figure, cultural narratives and the expressive possibilities of paint. He is leading this idea of confluence.

Roshni Joy explores the interplay of light, nature and human emotion, creating works that invite reflection and introspection. Her artistic vocabulary moves between figurative and atmospheric expression, capturing moments of stillness, sensitivity and emotional resonance. She is hopeful for a good response and start of her professional career through this exhibition.

Madhushree Pawar, a self-taught artist, works across water colour, acrylic and pen sketching. Deeply inspired by nature and spirituality, her works emerge from a personal connection with the natural world and an ongoing journey of exploring colour, form and expression. She deserves appreciation from art lovers.

Falak Antani – a Fine Arts graduate, passionate Artist, brings together her engagement with Indian mythology, literature, emotion, texture and feminine energy. Her practice explores the intersection of traditional narratives and contemporary visual expression. Through material, symbolism and layered surfaces, she creates works rooted in cultural memory while reflecting her own personal interpretation and artistic sensibility. Many of her art works adorns the prestigious walls of Art curators and Art lovers.

Together, the four artists offer viewers an opportunity to encounter diverse approaches to art while discovering a common thread — the transformation of thought into visual form.

The exhibition invites art enthusiasts, collectors, artists, students and the wider public to experience these works and engage with the stories, emotions and ideas that lie behind them.
