Sarah Hanahan, a Massachusetts native, began playing the alto saxophone at the age of eight. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School (University of Hartford) and went on to complete her master’s at the prestigious Juilliard School. Sarah regularly performs with her own band throughout NYC and maintains a busy touring schedule both across the United States and internationally. In addition to leading her own projects, she frequently appears with acclaimed ensembles and artists such as the Mingus Big Band, Joe Farnsworth, Peter Martin, and others.
$12 advanced, $15 at the door, $5 students. General Admission (Seated), Doors open at 7PM. Featured set at 7:30 followed by a jazz jam session, bring your axe to sit in!!
