Michigan native and Seattle-based musician Sarah Brunner is a full-time performer, both as a solo artist and with her band, The Hipocrats. Her style, deeply rooted in acoustic Americana, folk, and country, blends rhythm guitar with soulful vocal melodies to create a sound that is both intimate and powerful. With a passion for live performance, Sarah excels at setting the right vibe whether she's performing in an intimate venue or on a large stage.

Sarah grew up playing guitar and started performing shows in 2013 in East Lansing, MI, while studying marketing and business management at Michigan State University. After cutting her teeth in the local scene, she ventured abroad, performing in hostels across the UK and busking her way through Europe. She relocated to Seattle in 2017 and has called it home ever since.

In October 2021, Sarah released her debut single, "Caravan," featuring fellow musician Tyler McGinnis. Their instant musical chemistry led to the formation of their Americana band, The Hipocrats. Since then, The Hipocrats have released their debut 6-song EP Road to Joy and their full-length album Friend Ship Joyride, which has surpassed 50,000 streams on Spotify. Produced by Grammy Award-winning artist Chance McCoy, the album has resonated with people through its blend of different genres and writing styles. The band has completed 12 major tours, with the most notable being the Road to Joy Tour in 2022. This 5-month, 90-show, 26-state national tour included performances at a songwriters' round in Nashville, the legendary Saxon Pub in Austin, and an opening slot for Grammy-nominated artist Will Hoge at Tractor Tavern in Seattle.

When she's not making music, Sarah is training for her next ultramarathon. She's competed in races like New Zealand's Tarawera 102K, the 75-mile Silver Moon Race in Reedley, CA, and the Kaniksu 50.
