Rooted in Arabic heritage and shaped by experimentation, the performance blends live instrumentation with electronic textures.
At its heart, Sara Wakhawatha grows from an evolving bond of friendship, inviting introspection, reflection, and meaning.
In collaboration with Sima Dance Company, this new expression of the project expands through movement, incorporating sacred smoke by Miiraj to create an immersive and sensory world where collective creation unfolds.
The journey features composition, arrangement, and sound engineering by Waleed Shah and Raz Moussa, with lyrics, melodies, and vocals by Sara Elgohary.
