Santa Returns to Fleet Walk with a Magical Winter Wonderland Grotto for 2026

Santa will be back in town this festive season, bringing a spectacular Winter Wonderland grotto to Fleet Walk in Torquay.

This year’s magical theme is “White Winter Wonderland”, where visitors will step into a sparkling snowy world filled with festive fun. The fully animated grotto will feature five magnificent polar bears, eight comical snowmen, eight playful penguins and four friendly Eskimos, creating an enchanting experience for children and families alike.

Santa’s elves have been hard at work preparing for the festive season, with beautifully wrapped gifts ready for children whose names appear on Santa’s Good List. Every child will have the opportunity to meet Santa in person, receive a special gift and take home a keepsake photograph as a treasured reminder of their magical visit.

The popular annual event is organised by the Rotary Club of Torbay Sunrise, with all proceeds supporting Rotary charities, including Children’s Hospice South West.

The grotto opens on Saturday, 21 November, followed by Sunday, 22 November. After the opening weekend, it will be open every Saturday and Sunday through to Sunday, 13 December. Santa will then return for the final festive week, welcoming visitors every day from Friday, 18 December until Christmas Eve, including Thursday, 24 December.

Opening times:

Monday to Saturday: 10.00am–1.00pm and 2.00pm–5.00pm.

Sundays: 10.00am–1.00pm and 2.00pm–4.30pm.

Tickets are £10 per child up to age 12 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis via Eventbrite. This is always a popular festive attraction, so families are strongly encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
