Join us in welcoming Santa to the City of Kyle on Monday, Dec. 1 from 4-9 PM at Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park, 101 S. Burleson St. Bring your family and friends for the official kick-off to the Holidays in Kyle. Since 1999, the city has invited Santa to Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park to be a part of the downtown tree-lighting event, and he's been at every one since! Come enjoy holiday music performed by local school choirs, photos with Santa, face painting, free kids activities, and get a head start on Christmas shopping with our festive food and holiday market vendors. The 2025 performance schedule will be announced at a later date.
Santa will be available for FREE pictures. Pictures must be taken with your own personal camera or device. A professional photographer will not be present. The doors will open at 4:00 p.m. and the line will be cut off at a certain point at 8 p.m.
Street Closure & Parking
Starting at 8 a.m. and going until 11 p.m. on Dec. 1 the following streets will be closed for the event:
Burleson Street from Center Street to Miller Street
Miller Street from Burleson Street to Main Street
Main Street from Center Street to Miller Street
Parking for the event will be available on adjacent streets downtown.
