The ‘Santa Splash’ makes its festive return! 🎅Join us, along with our friends at the Canal & River Trust and local community partners, for a jolly paddle along the Leeds-Liverpool canal for this ever popular, seasonal, splash event! 💦
Santa and Christmas themed costumes are always welcome 🎅✨📸
🗓️ WHEN: Saturday, December 7th 2024, 10am – 2pm (approx)
📍 START: Eldonian Village Hall, L3 6LG
🏁 FINISH: Lock and Quay Community Pub, L20 4AP
🗺️ DISTANCE: 2.1 miles (as the duck flies)
But relax, it’s NOT a race 🦌🦌🦌🦌🛶💨
🎉 WHAT TO EXPECT:
10am: We gather at Eldonians by the canal-side for hot chocolate, mince pies, festive tunes and to collect your FREE Santa hats. There will also be some boat decoration fun (bring your own tinsel, lights, trees, garlands – be creative!) ☕ 🥧 🎸🎵 🎀
11am: We embark on a one-way paddle to the Lock & Quay Community Pub – don't forget to brush up on the lyrics to your favourite Christmas songs! 🎶
12pm: A community party at the Lock & Quay with prizes for the best-dressed and the best-decorated boat, delicious hot food, more live music and our festive Christmas market! 🥳🏆🍻🌭🎸🎁

This is a FREE ticketed event. But donations to our community party are always welcome. 🙏🏻
