Music at Crosby Hall: Trio KaguraWe open the 2024/5 season with a performance by the Kagura Piano Trio, an outstanding international group headed by Lithuanian violinist Pijus Jonušas, who you may recall played for us last season as part of the excellent Trio Cosmo. The name, Kagura, is taken from the Japanese word for ritual music and dance that is performed to bring joy and peace to the community. Their programme includes the chance to hear Schubert’s sublime masterpiece Trio No. 1 D.898, a delightful work widely recognised to be one of the very finest Trios ever written.

Crosby Hall Educational Trust brings you the most exciting young talent in the music world today. Our intimate auditorium in the renovated Great Barn (with a beautiful grand piano provided by the National Lottery) makes an ideal venue for this type of music. The performers are specially selected for their exceptional talent and prospects.
Ticket price for concerts in the series includes an interval drink and canapés, except for the Summer Gala Concert.
