Dear Glenwood Supporter
Let’s make magic and share the love this festive season!
We are thrilled to announce that Glenwood High School is once again partnering with Santa Shoebox to support the incredible children of St Martin’s Children’s Home and we would love for you to be a part of it.
We are calling on our Glenwood community to help bring joy and hope by donating a lovingly packed shoebox gift. Please see the attached list of children and suggested gift items to guide your donation.
🎁 Each shoebox should ideally include the following 8 essential items (age-appropriate):
• Face cloth
• Soap
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Clothes
• A toy or fun item
• An educational/stationery item
• Jelly-type sweets
✨ For children aged 12 and up, please also include:
• Roll-on deodorant
• Sanitary pads or panty liners
You are welcome to add extra goodies, as long as they are not religious, perishable, or dangerous items.
Important Clothing Note:
If you are unable to find the exact size listed (e.g. 8/9, 10/11, 12/13), please opt for the next size up rather than down.

We have got you covered! For R350, we will pack a gift on your behalf, you can still choose a specific child to sponsor.
Deadline for payments: Monday, 27 October 2025.
Deadline for all physical shoeboxes: Friday, 31 October 2025 (for scanning and delivery purposes).
Drop-off location: Glenwood High School Marketing Office
Final drop-off day: Friday, 31 October 2025
If you are unable to contribute a full box, any donation, big or small is deeply appreciated. Even individual items from the list will make a difference.
Top Tip: Decorate your shoebox and include a heartfelt note, for many children, that’s the most treasured item of all!
🌟 MAKE IT PERSONAL:
Choose a child by name, age, and gender, and pack your gift with love. Please clearly label your box with the child’s name and their house.
