The fun starts in front of Christchurch Mansion where local radio station Suffolk Sound will be on hand with some festive tunes to set the scene.You can arrive from 10am, there’s a chance to grab a coffee or a bite to eat and browse some of our doggy related stalls.
When you arrive, please register at the registration tent.
The walk starts at 11am and takes around 40 minutes to complete but there’s no rush. It’s approximately 1.5 miles long. It’s on tarmac paths but is a bit hilly in places.
Please make sure you keep your dog on a lead at all times.
The route will be fully signposted and marshalled.
There will be special doggy certificates for all who take part.
We’ll also have prizes for the best dressed dogs and maybe their owners.
There will be a golden ticket raffle with some great prizes to win.
Please keep an eye on the weather and wear appropriate clothing and footwear as it may be wet or slippery. The event will go ahead unless the park is closed by Ipswich Borough Council.
There is plenty of parking nearby, either on street or in local car parks.
Would you also make sure you clear up after your dog, poo bags will be available.
