The annual Harleysville Santa Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2024! We are supper excited to once again bring Santa around town. We are a few weeks away and will continue to post information about the day. Here are a few things to keep in mind!
- Starts around 9:00AM and runs until about 3:30/4PM (fire calls can and will delay this if they occur)
- We will be doing a food and paper/toiletry good collection again for Shepherd's Shelf. Please place the items at the end of your driveway!
- There will be a lead vehicle with its sirens and lights on to alert you that Santa is coming to your Street. Santa will be on top of the big firetruck in the middle, followed by a vehicle that will be collecting the food and dry good donations for the Shepherd's Shelf pantry behind.
- If you are not home, leave your donations in a bag by your mailbox (please don’t leave it near your trash as it is easy for us to mistake one for the other) or drop them off out front of the station by 4pm.
- If you miss Santa, it will not be hard to find him as he will be driving all around our coverage area on four different trucks between these hours; so just listen for the sirens and drive around and I guarantee you will locate him and flag us down and we will always stop.
- We will not be able to return phone calls/emails/communication relating to where Santa is and where he is heading next, due to the complexity of the incident and manpower needed we will not have the ability to get back to these individual requests -Please meet Santa at the end of your driveways or closest intersections if it all possible, it makes it very difficult when we cannot see you at your front porch especially those of you with long driveways
- Finally, please be patient, kind and remember that this event is ran by our dedicated volunteers who spend their entire day, in all kinds of weather, to bring Santa to each and every street in our coverage area. They spend their entire day away from their families to help bring smiles to you and your families.
