The Friends of New Close School are hosting a Santa Fun Run for the whole community to take part in on Thursday 19th December 2024.
Participants are welcome to arrive from 3pm. Children can be collected as normal at 3.15pm. The warm up will start at 3.20pm with the race starting at 3.30pm.
The Santa Dash is open to all abilities and is perfect for getting family and friends together for a fun time out.
As you walk, jog, skip or run across the finishing line, the air will be filled with merry melodies of Christmas music, infusing every step with holiday cheer!
One lap is the equivalent to running 1km. There will be fun and obstacles along the way.
Pushchairs and wheelchairs are welcome.
But the true prize awaits as each runner will receive our magnificent engraved finishing medal, a Santa hat, bottle of water, and a certificate of participation.
Runners are warmly welcomed to wear festive fancy dress; a full Santa suit, snowman suit, reindeer outfit or even dress up as an elf!
