Ever wanted to try salsa, hip-hop, ballet, or contemporary dance? Now’s your chance! During Santa Cruz Dance Week, studios and instructors across the County are opening their doors for Open Classes—welcoming dancers of all ages and experience levels.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, this is your opportunity to explore, move, and connect with Santa Cruz’s vibrant dance community. No commitments, no pressure—just pure joy in motion.

Please note, this is for New Students (or new to a class) Only. Preregistration for class may be available but is not required to participate in most classes. That said, it is a busy week for dance and some classes have more room than others. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before class time. Students will be accommodated first come first serve. If you have concerns about a specific class, please contact the studio where it is being hosted directly.
