Welcome Santa Claus to Newmarket at our annual Santa Claus Parade. Bundle up and bring your family and friends to see the festive holiday floats followed by our special guest - jolly Old St. Nick.
Please remember to bring your letter to Santa and your non-perishable food item to be collected for the Newmarket Food Pantry.
Parade Route:
The parade starts at the corner of Eagle Street and Lorne Avenue, proceeds East on Eagle Street to Main Street, continues North on Main Street to finish at Ontario Street.
Parade Float Applications:
Community groups, schools, sports groups, businesses, and volunteer organizations are invited to submit applications to enter floats, performance groups, or walking groups for the parade.
❗Please note: Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, applicants are encouraged to submit their application in person to the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) or by email to the Newmarket Santa Claus Parade Committee at [email protected]
• Applications are available at https://www.newmarket.ca/santa
• The Float Application deadline is Friday, October 31, 2025 at 4 p.m.
• Only the first 50 applications will be accepted.
• Applications received after Friday, October 31, 2025 at 4 p.m. will not be considered.
