You are invited to join Santa, Mrs Claus and the merry Elves at The Granary this December.
The price is £12.50 per person and the event comprises a festive boat trip, small gift for each child and festive treats in Mrs Claus’ Tea Room.
This event is possible through the efforts and dedication of River Stour Trust volunteers. All proceeds will go toward the restoration, conservation and education of the Suffolk & Essex River Stour Navigation.
Small gift for children:
Our festive themed gifts usually comprise some sweets, sticker/tattoo transfers, and something that the children can make/do e.g. DIY bookmark/decoration and a letter to Santa.
Mrs Claus's Festive Treats:
o Children - hot chocolate (or milk, water or cordial) and fairy cake (or similar)
o Adult - mulled wine (or hot chocolate) and mince pie
Please let us know in advance of any special dietary requirements or allergies and will do our best to provide a suitable alternative.
Boat overview:
o This year we are welcoming you aboard our boat, Edwardian Lady - click here
o Trip duration is 20-30 minutes and the boat is covered but please wrap up warm!
o Enjoy festive tunes and a sing-a-long with the elves.
o Boat usually accommodates a maximum of 12 passengers, subject to load capacity (average 82.5kg/13 stone per person).
o Babies (aged under 12 months) are not counted but we still need to know they are coming aboard.
o Sadly, we are unable to carry wheelchair passengers on this particular boat.
PLEASE NOTE:
o Passenger numbers are subject to boat and load capacity (12 passengers, average 82.5kg per person).
o Sadly, we are unable to carry wheelchair passengers on the boat.
o Lifejackets are provided and must be worn by those under 12 years.
o Anyone aged under 16 years should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
o Dogs - unfortunately we shall not be permitting canine passengers at this event.
o To ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers and volunteers, we will regrettably cancel the boat trip at short notice in the case of adverse weather and/or stream conditions. In this instance a partial refund or boat trip voucher will be provided.
