The Miracle Mile Trail Study is a slow, guided walk designed to build a deeper relationship with a specific place over time. At Sans Souci Park in Sayville, we’ll explore approximately 1.25 miles of trail. Our goal is not one of covering distance; rather, we intend to slow down and notice more.
We’ll pause often to observe what’s around us: plant life, animal sign, seasonal shifts, and subtle patterns that are easy to miss when moving too quickly. Along the way, you’ll be encouraged to begin (or continue) a simple trail journal, capturing what you see, what’s changing, and what questions begin to emerge.
