About this Event
Join the Sankofa Scholarship Collective for our culminating event on October 28. This gathering will bring together principals, educators, families, students, and community leaders to celebrate the power of collective action in reshaping education for Black children and all students.
Throughout the day, we will highlight:
- Innovative practices and success stories from schools and communities
- Opportunities to build stronger school–family partnerships
- Youth-led work that centers student voice and leadership
- Policy and advocacy pathways to create lasting change
This event is designed as both a celebration and a call to action. By coming together, we honor the work that has been done, share lessons learned, and chart pathways for continued collaboration that advances equity, cultural grounding, and community leadership in education.
Why You Should Attend:
- Network with leaders committed to equity in education
- Learn about resources and partnerships available through Sankofa & CBCE
- Celebrate and uplift youth, families, and schools doing transformative work
- Add your voice to a movement that is shaping the future of education
