Celebrate Kwanzaa with Sankofa!

Join us at the Sankofa Children's Museum of African Cultures for our annual festive celebration of Kwanzaa! Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and values of this vibrant holiday. Discover the beauty of African culture on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 4pm-7pm at our unique haven, 4330 Pimlico Road, Baltimore, MD 21215.

Hosted by Community Leader, Mr. Charlie Dugger, enjoy Kwanzaa festivities including cultural performances, music, Spoken Word, food, art, and more. Bring your family to experience the joy of unity, the strength of community and the spirit of Kwanzaa. Come learn about the seven principles of Kwanzaa, sing, dance, and enjoy traditional African cuisine. Vendors too!

We are collecting new and barely used winter accessories - hats, gloves, scarves for families in need this holiday season. Please drop off at 4330 Pimlico Road during our normal operating hours (Wednesdays-Saturdays, from 11-6pm or bring items with you to our Kwanzaa event. Thank you.
