In this world, the Supreme Lord is the embodiment of bliss, and what we all seek is that very bliss. To truly experience it, one must attain the Lord of Bliss Himself. Though there are many ways to reach Him, in this Kali Yuga, the simplest, easiest, and most meaningful path is Nama Smarane — the remembrance of His name.
The Haridasas of our Holy Land have shown us this path through their many soulful compositions. Among them were the Haridasas who belonged to Nanjanagoodu. Sankeertanam is our humble effort — as the “birds of that very nest” — to present the essence of their Dasa Sahitya in a special way.
This is Goodina Sogadu.
The Dasapadagalu (devotional compositions) presented here were written by the Poorvashrama lineage of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. The present-day descendants of that very lineage are now bringing them to life — through a unique confluence of philosophical interpretation, music, and dance.
