Sanibel's July 4th Parade is a tradition you don't want to miss!!!!
The Annual Independence Day Parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on Sanibel. This year’s theme is a nod to America's 250.
Presented by the City of Sanibel, Bank of the Islands, and Kingfisher Realty - The Bondurant Team.
The parade route will start out at Tarpon Bay Road and Periwinkle Way. The participants will travel east on Periwinkle and exit at Casa Ybel Road. Periwinkle will be closed from Donax Street to Tarpon Bay from 9 a.m. to noon, so motorists are reminded to plan on using alternative routes if you need to travel.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seating before it starts. ROADS CLOSE AT 9:00 A.M. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, bottled water, sunscreen and bug spray.
Parking will be available at: Forever Green/ACE Hardware, Jerry’s Foods, Tahitian Gardens Shops, Palm Ridge Place, Periwinkle Place Shops, Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, Sanibel Community Church, Sanibel Community Park, Sanibel Square, The Community House and The Village Shops.
