Sangīta = sweet communion of divine music
Sangīta kīrtan is about human centred community coming together in sacred sound and singing prayers of peace for all living beings and our planet.
The genesis of Sangīta was a seed from Chantanānda, a deep love of chanting and singing the music of the divine. The call to invite you to share his exploration was compelling. Thank you for your yes!
When we chant and sing we can experience our own heart, bliss and Self. We all share a longing for this.
Dipika and Andrew decades of professional musical experience including classical Indian vocals, therapeutic use of Sanskrit mantra, nāda yoga, chanting for whole wellbeing.
Chanting invites you into the stillness of inner soundscape, quietening the mind through the resonant qualities of the mantra and music. The Sanskrit mantra in simple melody evokes moods and shades of your own healing, ease and being.
