The September meeting is not on its usual date. It's been moved to the first Tuesday. Our Coalition for Springfield's Utility Future members will be speaking out in favor of a solar project planned for Divernon. Clean, renewable energy has been needed for a long time - the state has legislation that requires us to be zero-emissions by 2045. Now that data centers are being approved it's even more important that we offset the diesel backup generators and planned gas powered plants with renewable energy.
