Hey Nashville wine lovers � One of world's best young winemakers, Sandra Bravo of Sierra de Toloño in La Rioja, Spain � will offer a free tasting of her highly acclaimed wines at RED Spirits & Wine in Bellevue.
� When: Tuesday, January 20 from 3 - 6 pm. The event is free.
� Her Story–After working in Bordeaux, Tuscany, New Zealand, California and Priorat, Spain, Sandra returned to her home region of Rioja 13 years ago and began acquiring small vineyard plots of old vines at high elevation in the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria Mountains. Among her awards, Tim Akin MW, Special Report named her "Best Winemaker of the Year" in 2019 and her La Dula Garnacha, Teeseño and Nahikun Blanco were named wines of the year in 2022 and 2023. Biodynamic and organic, her wines offer stunning freshness and elegance. On a personal note–during the peak of the 2024 harvest, Sandra was gracious to spend a morning with my Miracle Wine Tour group.
