Sand to Serengeti is a 10 mile and 3 mile race that takes place at Green Lakes State Park.Miles & Macros has partnered with the Onondaga East Chamber ("OEC"). We are hoping to get $500 in donations for OEC (501c(6) not-for-profit). When you contribute, your funds help the Chamber provide essential services to businesses in the area, such as networking opportunities and resources that can help them thrive. Additionally, your support helps fund events and programs that strengthen community ties, attract visitors, and encourage people to shop locally.
If you do not want to race, you can just donate through the race website.
10 Mile Awards:
$100 cash award to 1st place female and male finisher.
$50 cash award to the 2nd place female and male finisher.
$25 cash award to the 3rd place female and male finisher.
$25 cash award to the halfway runner (median of the total number of finishers) from Fleet Feet.
$25 cash award to the last place runner from Fleet Feet.
3 Mile Awards:
Ribbon Awards for 1st-3rd place male/female.
Enter in a raffle for $100 Fleet Feet if you donate to OEC.
Chances to Win! Treasure Hunt:
1. 4 print out cookies will be on survey flags used to mark the course. If you see the card, grab it and hold on to it to get 2 free cookies from Sugar Blossom Cake Shop at the end of the race. 1 allowed per person.
2. 2 print out cheese steak will be on survey flags used to mark the course. If you see the card, grab it and hold on to it to get a $25 gift card from Gino's Cheese Steak and Onion at the end of the race. 1 allowed per person.
