Year six is chalk full of bigger and better! 2026 brings larger payouts, bigger tournaments, and one extra day of competition on the sand. Downtown Chillicothe thanks Herrnstein KIA, Adena Regional Medical, and Classic Brands for working with Sand in the Streets to grow the tournament for all involved! NEW ITEMS added in 2026!!
Open/AA:
Payout will now be $3,000 1st, and $1,500 2nd
Tournament will now have 16 teams
Tournament will be 2 days. Saturday & Sunday August 22 & 23
A/BB Tournament:
Payout will now be $1,250 1st, and $750 2nd
Tournament will now have 16 teams

Recreational Tournament:
Gold Bracket will now payout $500 1st, and $250 2nd
Tournament will now have 48 teams
Tournament will be 2 days. Saturday & Sunday August 22 & 23
Saturday night will now host a "Players Party" that will include live music, one free meal per player and one free drink per player!!
There will be hotel blocks available for teams. Details to come.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS 2026:
MIXED 4s. Will play by FIVB4s Sand Rules.
The Open/AA and A/BB tournaments will be available via online registration beginning May 15, 2026. There will be an update to the event page with a registration link and the same link will be posted on Facebook.
Open/AA:
Regionally top performing volleyball players and teams that have experience playing in high level tournaments.
Open/AA Registration $300, 16 team cap
Open/AA Division Payout : 1st $3,000, 2nd $1,500
A/BB:
High performing players and teams that play volleyball regularly and can compete with highly talented volleyball players.
Competitive A/BB Registration: $275, 16 team cap
Competitive A/BB Payout: 1st $1,250, 2nd $750
Recreational Tournament will open May 1, 2026 via an online registration link that we will provide on Facebook.
Recreational:
Teams/players that have played volleyball but mostly show up for the fun and cold drinks.
Recreational Registration: $250, 48 team cap
Recreational Payout: 1st Gold Bracket $500, 2nd $250
Teams will be placed in pools of four teams. Games to 21 by 2 (cap at 25). Games may be changed to 15 based on timing of tournament as determined by the Tournament Director. Tournament seed will be determined by Win/Loss with point differential as tie breaker. Tournament is single elimination. Only Tournament Championship Games will go best of three games.
Open/AA and Competitive A/BB Divisions will have paid referees. Recreational Tournament will have designated team member refereeing.
All teams will be given a “swag bag” and each player will receive a tournament t-shirt.
