Help remove invasive Forget-me-Nots at San Pedro Valley!
About this Event

On August 8 we will work from 9am-noon to remove invasive Forget-Me-Not plants in the park. The work site is a1 mile walk from the Visitor Center along Weiler Rd. The plant is easy to identify and comes out easily by hand; gloves and bagswill be provided

San Pedro Valley is a beautiful, 1,052 acre park tucked away within the Santa Cruz mountain range and the foothills of Pacifica. In the springtime, the park's meadows fill with wildflowers like California Poppies, Suncups, and Buttercups.

We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty for your protection and comfort. Sunscreen, snacks, hats, and layers are also great to have on hand in case the weather gets warm or cold! Heavy weather may cause us to cancel the event.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian. Youth under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

A reminder email with more detailed instructions on the day's activities and where to meet will also be sent in advance of the event. We look forward to seeing you in the parks!
