On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the San Pedro Heritage Museum will present SAN PEDRO ON FILM: BARS & BITES, a live talk event at the Grand Annex (434 W. 6th St.), showcasing bars and eateries of the port town's past and present through the eyes of Hollywood.
The 3 p.m. program, hosted by Joshua Stecker (San Pedro Today publisher), will feature clips from notable films, TV shows, and commercials shot in familiar restaurants and watering holes. The program will include historical photos, fun facts, raffle prizes, merch, and more. Several artifacts from the museum’s collection will be on display.

All seating is first come, first-served. Regular tickets will also be available at the door (cash and card accepted). Premier tickets are available in advance of the event only. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Raffle tickets will be available on site for $5 each, or five for $20. Proceeds from tickets, merchandise, and raffle sales will benefit SPHM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

About the San Pedro Heritage Museum
The San Pedro Heritage Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by the late local historian Angela “Romee” Romero in 2018 with the mission to identify, preserve, and promote the unique history and culture of San Pedro. SPHM aims to someday house its collection of artifacts, photos and ephemera in a brick-and-mortar museum space, existing as a series of pop up exhibits and events in the meantime.
