SMCMS begins its 20th concert season with its annual concert benefiting Breakthrough T1D, the country's leading organization fighting for a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
This year we perform Mozart's beautiful Kegelstatt Trio for clarinet, viola, and piano, with clarinetist Giovanni Bertoni, pianist Scott Watkins, and violist Ellen Olson. Also on the program will be 2 movements of Alyssa Morris's Coastal Kaleidoscope for flute, oboe, and piano, with flutist Sophia Jean, oboist Eric Olson, and pianist Scott Watkins. The concert ends with Camille Saint-Saens' Caprice on Danish and Russian Airs for flute, clarinet, oboe, and piano.
Admission is free, with all donations going to Breakthrough T1D. Tickets are not required.
Please join us for this eclectic and exciting concert, and mingle with the musicians at the post-concert reception!
