The San Gabriel Valley Comedy Festival returns August 23-29, 2026, bringing nationally touring comedians, rising stars, and unforgettable live entertainment to Astronaut City Comedy Club & Karaoke Bar in Arcadia.
On Friday August 28, the festival presents NEW JOKE CITY, Astronaut City's house show.
Featured in the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, New Joke City is Astronaut City's signature comedy show and one of the most unique events of the festival. Created by Teresa Lo and hosted by Chris Miller, this fast-paced comedy experience combines crowd work, improvisation, joke writing, tagging, and storytelling inspired by audience suggestions. No two shows are ever the same, and anything can happen when some of Southern California's quickest comedians take the stage.
