Van Halen took all the best elements of 60s and 70s rock, fused them with the panache and pageantry of vaudeville, shot them into orbit with high velocity guitar unlike the world had ever seen. From Runnin' with the Devil to Jump, they single-handedly saved hard rock and ushered in the glorious musical excesses of the 80s.
San Fran Halen is a group of San Francisco Bay Area pros who have joined the ranks of the world's best Van Halen tributes to pay homage to the joy etched in the indelible grooves on the sacred platters we have cherished since childhood. Ryan Cominskey on drums, Michael Freeman on bass, Rob Spinosa on guitar, and rock n roll ringmaster Mikki J. Fox have sworn on their honor to do their best to do their duty to bring the party to you like it's 1984. It's never too late to have a happy adolescence.
Opening Act Illegitimate AC/DC is the North bay's ultimate tribute to the greatest rock band ever, AC/DC. The band highlights the Bon Scott era but steps into Brian Johnson territory as well. Fronted by Will Cotter and backed by 4 seasoned veterans of rock, this act will make it seem like you've just seen the real deal, 30 years ago.
The band is committed to keeping the music true to form, with no tricks or fancy effects, just pure, straight-up Rock and Roll.
