San Fermín Festival at Formaggio Kitchen

Join us at the Huron Ave shop, Saturday, July 11th from 12-3pm for a celebration of the Spanish Festival of San Fermín!
The Festival of San Fermín is a famous, week-long celebration held annually in Pamplona, Spain, from July 6 to July 14. It is best known for the daily "Running of the Bulls" (encierro), but the event also features parades, traditional music, dancing, and religious ceremonies honoring the city's patron saint.
During our celebration, customers will get to experience a taste of the Basque Country of Spain right here in Cambridge. Our wine team will be sampling the famous Basque wine, Txakolina, there will be plenty of cheese to taste from Basque producer Kamiku, and, the star of the show, will be a professional Cortador (jamón craver) from jamón producer Montaraz, slicing off bites. Our kitchen team will be preparing a few traditional dishes to take home, and our expert staff will be circulating to make recommendations to take the party home, like sharing recipes and ingredients to make different pintxos (Spanish snacks).
The atmosphere will be festive: We'll be playing a playlist featuring traditional music, and staff members will be sporting the iconic red scarves around their necks.
This event is free and open to the public.
