SAMSAT CAMP: Music Tech [7th-12th grade]

Jump in the studio and become an audio producer. From Lofi to Techno, we’ll walk you through the production process.
About this Event

Join us for a half-day camp at SAMSAT, The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology.

Music Tech camp shows students an introduction to Audio Engineering in both Live & Post Production! Students will have an introduction on how to operate a Digital Audio Workstation. On the final day of the camp, we will have students run a live show! During this week long camp, we will be covering:

• ARM/Record & Edit directly in the DAW
• Understand Audio Effects/Mixing
• Master a Pre Recorded Song
• Learn the different roles in Live Production

The camp sessions will be held at SAMSAT's AREA 21® located within the Boeing Center at Tech Port building (3331 General Hudnell, 78226)..

Must be a rising 7th-12th grader.

A snack will be provided, but please remember to bring your own water bottle.

Camp hours: 12:15 PM – 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

Early drop-off, up to 30 minutes before the start time, is permitted.
