SAMSAT CAMP: Med Tech [7th-12th grade]

Join us for a half-day camp at SAMSAT, The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology.

Med Tech camp will teach our campers about the complexities and trials of the medical industry. Our activities will have our campers utilize a mix of everyday items, microscopes, and gaming PCs to get hands-on and explore the followings topics:

• clinical labs
• surgical technology
• sterilization of the operation room
• what is it like to be a nurse
• other medical careers NOT within a hospital

The camp sessions will be held at SAMSAT's AREA 21® located within the Boeing Center at Tech Port building (3331 General Hudnell, 78226).

Must be a rising 7th-12th grader.

A snack will be provided, but please remember to bring your own water bottle. If you plan to stay for the full day, bring your own lunch.

Camp hours: 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM

Early drop-off, up to 30 minutes before the start time, is permitted.
