Greetings and Well Met friends…
The Wheel has turned past the Autumnal Equinox and the days are once again getter shorter. The earth prepares to hunker down for the winter months to come. The leaves turn and the last of the harvest is drawing to a close. As we build up our hearths and don extra sweaters our time of contemplation and inner thoughts follows closed behind. Thoughts of the year past as the wheel turns, our ancestors of long ago and perhaps those recently passed. The Temple of Isis invites you to our long running tradition of open public ritual to honour Samhain and our Ancestors.
Come and join the Temple Of Isis on Thursday October 31st for our open public Samhain Ritual. What better way to honour and pay homage to our ancestors and the year past than to gather in ritual and tribute within the sacred circle of stones. Our Ritual will begin at 10:00pm sharp. As always, those of us that facilitate the Ritual do so as willing volunteers and we will be collecting donations of $10 per person (or what you can afford) so that we may pass forward the abundance of our final harvest too others that are in need. We, the Temple Of Isis, are proud to share with you that our public rituals have collected over $3000 with your generous donations and that 100% of those funds collected have supported local soup kitchens and food banks in our community. Thank you all for your support in the past – come join us to continue the tradition!
Please note that the Ritual is outside at the Standing Stones - Ajax Lakefront (email for directions) and WILL RUN REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER CONDITIONS (except active lightening). Please dress accordingly. And of course, ritual wear is always welcome for those of you who wish to partake.
