This is an open community ceremony for likeminded, earth based spiritual beings. Come with an open mind and heart, nothing much more is needed. It is usually celebrated from October 31 to November 1 to welcome in the harvest and usher in “the dark half of the year.” But we will gather on Oct 26th to celebrate the new year, honor our ancestors and connect to divine guidance.
There is an ancient maple tree in the park, we will take a short hike to sit under the tree and hold an earth based ceremony. We will have a community drum circle so bring your drum if you have one, a rattle or whatever you would like to share in celebration.
What to expect:
Call the direction
Connect with and honor our ancestors in ceremony.
Shamanic journey for guidance
Community drum circle
What to bring:
Blanket or chair to sit on
Water to drink
Drum or whatever instrument you would like to bring
Something sacred to hold the energy, this is something personal to you. It could be just a crystal you carry in your pocket.
Since it is a great time for divination, if anyone would like to bring their cards and do short readings for people. I may bring a deck of cards myself and see how the night goes.
There is no cost for ceremony.
