Have you ever wanted to experience the power and energy of authentic Brazilian Samba-Reggae?
Samba Swing is Calgary’s Brazilian Samba-Reggae drumming community, bringing together people from all backgrounds through rhythm, culture, and connection.
Whether you’ve never touched a drum before or already have musical experience, we welcome enthusiastic people who are ready to learn, grow, and perform as part of a team.

Fee: $45 (covers 3 days of workshop)
The audition is divided into three sessions, allowing us to evaluate your rhythm, consistency, teamwork, and commitment while helping you become familiar with our style.
Requirements
• Must be 17 years or older
• No previous drumming experience is required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable clothing and sneakers recommended
