We offer a blend of depth and integration, training over the course of 10 months. Students spend one weekend a month together, with spaces between sessions to integrate and process.
The training is co-lead by seasoned instructors Sushma Reddy, E-RYT-500 and Amy Thompson, E-RYT-500, both of whom completed their 200 hr YTT together at Samadhi in 2010. They have been instructors at Samadhi since that time, and have advanced certifications and additional YTTs in their resumes.
We have diverse teachers, including lead instructor Sushma Reddy, who brings the authentic essence of yoga from her upbringing in India (the birthplace of yoga).And Sarita Nanda E-RYT 500®, and C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, who began her yoga journey began in her early childhood, nurtured by a guru from an Ashram in India. Sarita presents our Pranayama Module.
Nikki Arel is a licensed massage therapist in CT specializing in Thai Massage. After gaining her RYT-200 through Samadhi, she completed certification through Warriors at Ease to teach yoga to military and veterans with knowledge about adaptive and trauma-sensitive practices.
Our primary guiding principles are to offer a training that has depth, with an emphasis on instructing, supporting and nurturing the process of yoga students becoming certified yoga teachers. The training schedule is designed in such a way that you will have space for growth and time for integration of the subjects covered. These are weekends that you will look forward to as in-town retreats for refueling, community and inspiration.
Samadhi’s YTT cost includes unlimited yoga for the 10 months of training, providing plenty of opportunities to practice while learning.
The training doesn’t end with graduation. Those who graduate will be given the opportunity to teach in a new teachers’ class at Samadhi on a rotating schedule. Included is also a one hour follow-up mentoring session six months (or prior, if preferred) post-graduation to support our graduates in their teaching and/or personal practice path

Yoga Anatomy & Physiology Training -$375 (this takes place in November 2025, during YTT weekend, and others may attend for CEUs or general interest/training).
