Salvador Sobral apresenta na Sala Suggia o seu quarto álbum de estúdio, composto por 11 originais, 10 dos quais criados em parceria com Leo Aldrey, que assina também a produção. O título, Timbre, é assim explicado pelo músico português: “Antes de tudo nesta vida eu sou cantor, um intérprete, e aquilo que mais me define e distingue é a minha voz, o meu timbre. Depois, o facto de me interessar o conceito de timbre enquanto cor, a cor da voz, a cor dos instrumentos. E, finalmente, timbre é igual em muitas línguas latinas e germânicas. Escreve-se igual e significa o mesmo. Parece que o conceito de timbre é universal e nos põe a todos de acordo”.
Salvador Sobral presents in Sala Suggia his fourth studio album, composed of 11 original tracks, 10 of which were created in partnership with Leo Aldrey, who also signs the production. The title, “Timbre,” is explained by the Portuguese musician as follows: “First of all, in this life, I am a singer, an interpreter, and what defines and distinguishes me the most is my voice, my timbre. Then, the fact that I am interested in the concept of timbre as color, the color of the voice, the color of instruments. And finally, ‘timbre’ is the same in many Latin and Germanic languages. It is written the same and means the same. It seems that the concept of timbre is universal and brings us all together.”
