Join Shelter to Soldier for our 2nd Annual Salute to Paws 5K & Gratitude Festival for Dogs, a joyful celebration of rescue dogs, veterans, and the healing bond they share. After the morning 5K, stay for a dog-friendly festival filled with gratitude, community, and tail-wagging fun—all benefiting STS’s psychiatric service dog training program for veterans living with invisible wounds.
What to expect
- 5K Run/Walk on a scenic course—great for families and social, leashed pups
- Gratitude Festival with music, activities, and shopping for your canine best friend
- Official Dog “Bar” by Furvor Pet serving pup-friendly bone broth “brews” 🥣🐾
- Rescue Row adoption area powered by Petco Love with adoptable dogs from our rescue partner, The Animal Pad!
